Один из самых известных проектов французского Black Metal сообщества "Чёрные Легионы" (Les Legions Noires) был создан в 1992 году (Брест, Франция). Возглавляли команду два человека: Wlad Drakksteim и Vorlok Drakksteim, - также известные по проектам Black Murder, Vérmyapre Kommando, Brenoritvrezorkre и многим другим.
Активно занимаясь музыкальной деятельностью, группа в период с 1993 по 1995 год записывает немалое количество демок, становясь одной из лидирующих групп LLN. Скопировано с Dark-World.ru. Музыка Vlad Tepes представляет собой злой и агрессивный Black Metal, впрочем не без некоторого мелодизма, в уникальном звучании Легионов. В 1995 году на лейбле Embassy Productions выходит единственный альбом Чёрных Легионов, официально запущенный в массы - гениальный сплит Vlad Tepes и Belketre "March to the Black Holocaust", содержащий лучшие работы этих проектов. Специально для сплита был написан некий манифест, который можно прочесть в буклете.
После этого деятельность группы пошла на спад. В 1996 году выходит ещё несколько демок и сплит с Torgeist, после этого общая деятельность Чёрных Легионов фактически прекращается и проект угасает. Дата последнего релиза группы - 1998 год. Vlad Tepes уходит в историю…
